Flipkart 2024 - Case Study

The Flipkart E-Kart leadership team, composed of 15 high-performing senior leaders with an average of 20 years of experience, had endured several stressful and hectic months at work. They needed an experience to unwind, bond, and connect in a fun, light-hearted, and informal setting. As first-time partners with Flipkart, Korelate faced the dual challenge of meeting high expectations while curating a unique, memorable experience tailored to this selective group.

Korelate conceptualized the Goa City-Wide Hunt, an exhilarating treasure hunt experience inspired by the “Amazing Race” TV show, designed to immerse the team in Goa’s vibrant culture, history, and spirit.

The event details:

• The Race: Conducted across North Goa, the activity featured iconic locations like Fort Aguada, St. Alex Church, Anjuna Market, Sinquerim Beach, and the Museum of Goa.
• Technology-Led Adventure: Teams logged into a platform that mapped locations and clues, blending technology with exploration.
• Challenges: Included solving historical clues, a Goan dance challenge, coconut relay, beach games, preparing traditional Goan drinks, performing a Goan Tiatr (local play), and learning Konkani phrases.
• Team Dynamics: Teams were given emergency funds and rules for collaboration, with safety instructions and checkpoints ensuring a smooth experience.
• Grand Finale: The hunt concluded with a celebratory seafood lunch and a video recap of the day’s adventures, sparking joy and camaraderie.

The Goa City-Wide Hunt was a resounding success. The leadership team experienced:
