In the Wheels of Kindness activity, each team receives a brand-new, disassembled wheelchair to build, along with all necessary tools and construction diagrams. Korelate facilitators provide coaching and support to ensure teams reach their goal. Teams must overcome the challenge of missing crucial tools and parts, competing in fun and innovative tasks to earn points. These points can be redeemed for missing parts, decorative items, or limited-time assistance from a wheelchair-building expert. Once the wheelchairs are complete, teams have the rewarding experience of donating them to representatives from old age homes, disabled individuals, and other beneficiaries, creating a deeply emotional and impactful event for everyone involved.
Purpose centers a team with motivation and drive. Engaging in an activity with an uplifting cause helps participants learn values that extend beyond the workplace.
