Each team is tasked with not only cooking up a mouth-watering menu based on a theme but also with designing their very own food truck and crafting a compelling marketing strategy.
The competition is fierce as participants dive deep into the world of marketing, contemplating the four Ps – product, price, promotion, and place.
Here is a typical scene during the activity – One team is assembling their cardboard food truck, painting it, and adding finishing touches. Another team is busy cooking up a storm, while another is huddled, brainstorming their marketing plan
The teams are judged not only on the quality of their food but also on the effectiveness of their marketing strategy and the overall presentation of their food truck.
The activity emphasizes the importance of the four Ps: product, price, promotion, and place. Through hands-on experience, teams understand the significance of providing consistent customer service, collaborating effectively, and leveraging creativity in a competitive market. Judging criteria include food quality, marketing effectiveness, and overall presentation, making the challenge a comprehensive learning experience in business management and teamwork.
