Ski-2gether is an engaging and dynamic team-building activity that focuses on collaboration and effective communication. In this high-energy challenge, teams of 4-6 members are equipped with multi-person skis and tasked with collecting colored balls scattered across a field. The catch is that the team must move in perfect unison on the skis, and any deviation from synchronized movement or contact with a “mine” (a yellow ball) results in the entire team having to restart the challenge.

The objective is to collect all the colored balls from the field, but teams often become so focused on their own balls that they overlook the collective goal. This oversight highlights the importance of working together to achieve a common objective rather than competing individually.

The activity emphasizes the need for seamless coordination, strategic planning, and mutual support. As teams navigate the field, they encounter obstacles and must decide whether to avoid them or turn them into opportunities for growth.

Throughout the 45-60 minute challenge, participants are prompted to reflect on key questions such as whether they are competing or collaborating, how they share ideas, and how they handle obstacles. Ski-2gether can be conducted indoors or outdoors, offering valuable lessons in teamwork and collaboration that extend beyond the activity itself.
